N. C. Wyeth born in Needham, MA on October 22, 1882. Wyeth died in a car accident near his home on October 19, 1945. Illustration numerous classic children's book, including Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island (1911), Kidnapped (1913), The Black Arrow (1916), David Balfour (1924).
