Quentin Blake born December 16, 1932 in London, England. Quentin Blake is illustrator of numerous children's books, for other authors as well as ones written himself. He has illustrated over 300 books. He won the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2002. From 1999 to 2001 he was the inaugural British Children's Laureate.
